Danish Open Competition

A Big Thank You to Team Wakarishin

I would like to congratulate all members of the team for their hard work over the weeks as this was clearly seen to pay off at the competition with a massive medal haul of 30!

A big thank you goes to Megan Douglas for being such a great team captain. Her inspiring words really motivated the team at the start of the competition. She worked tirelessly to look out for everybody, including me!

Everybody’s work ethics and standards were to an extremely high level. Well done to one and all I am very proud of you all.

A big thank you to all the parents for your continued support of the team and me. I look forward to the next time we all get together.

Kind regards

Sensei Ian

More Importantly, the Ed award was a close thing this time with many people queuing up (or falling over things) to try and win

I would like to thank Michael for judging this end of year award, with nominations coming from:

Bernie Argent
For losing Harry who was in her care!

Richard Flaxman
For the serious crime of losing his team hoodie and T-shirt (eventually found under his bed)

Sarah Redwood
For falling over a large concrete ball in Copenhagen

But, the winner by a large margin was

Chelsie Stansfield, for trying to smuggle lethal weapons onto a flight, attempting to complete and overcome the language barrier on a Danish suduko, losing her Budo and many other mishaps taken into consideration.
