Danish Course and Comp

I would like to congratulate all members of the team for their hard work over the weeks as this was clearly seen to pay off at the competition with a massive medal haul of 30! More>

Knife Course

Sensei Kyle will be running a Knife course on 19th February. With Knife crime in the UK at an all time high, the course will demonstrate defences to knife attacks should you ever find youself in that unfortunate position. Located at Great Berry school and starting at 1pm. The course is open to all grades.

Charity Run

Doug McDonald from the Basildon Club is taking part in this years Marathon in London on 22nd April and is raising money for the charity 'Get Kids Going'. Anyone who would like to make a donation can at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/DougMcDonald1

Squad Trial Day

Well done to everyone who attended and put effort and energy into the day to be part of the Wakarishin squad. By now you should have received an acknowledgement whether you are in or not. Do not be disheartened if you did not make it this year, learn from the feedback given and try again next year.

Membership Application

If anyone has found that their insurance has expired, they can now download the membership application form from the DOWNLOADS section to help speed up getting it processed. It is the individuals responsibility to ensure their insurance has not expired and should not wait for their Sensei to inform them.

Multiarts Course

The 5th Annual Multi Martial Arts Course was held on Saturday 15th October 2011 at Attleborough Sports Hall, Queens Square, Attleborough. Everyone who went had a great day. Our thanks to everyone who made us welcome.

Ko-Budo

The next Ko-Budo is on Sunday 12th February 2012 at Courage Hall, Brentwood. Seniors may attend Ko-Budo from Blue Belt and Juniors from Brown 3rd Tag Belt. Please advise your club Sensei if you wish to assess. The necessary level of aptitude and number of Ko-Budo’s attended will need to be met before you may assess.

Walsall Course and Competition

On Saturday 9th April, team Wakarishin competed in Walsall where we had a very successful day. Our medal tally was 46 medals with 20 of them Gold. Congratulations to everyone who competed.

Senior Grading Changes

Random attacks will now be included as part of the senior gradings. These should be practiced in class as part of your syllabus. The random attack styles can be downloaded HERE or from the Downloads section.
